About me

I am a UKCP accredited Systemic Family Psychotherapist.

I am dual qualified (when I trained this was a prerequisite for becoming a family therapist). In my case my first qualification is as an Integrative Psychotherapist and my second as a family therapist.

I work both with individuals, families and sometimes members of organisations, to help them to look at problems in ways which can improve both working and family relationships, and communication between members of families and teams.

My qualifications

My psychotherapy qualifications are:

  • MA Psychoanalytic Studies (The Tavistock Institute/University of East London)

  •
MSc and Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy (Metanoia Institute/Middlesex University)

  • MSc in Systemic Family Therapy (The Institute of Family Therapy/Birkbeck College University of London)

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision and Consultation: Psychotherapeutic & Organisational Approaches (University of Surrey Department of Psychology)

I am accredited with the UKCP as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist and with the Association of Family Therapy as a Supervisor.

My previous experience

In addition to my private practice my previous experience includes being part of NHS family therapy teams working in Adult and CAMHS family therapy clinics.

I also worked for 12 years as the lead family therapist on the inpatient eating disorders wards at the Priory Hospital in Roehampton.
